Cell Energy

Photosynthesis and Cellular Respiration

Cellular respiration and photosynthesis are the the main energy conversion processes in ecosystems. All living things use cellular respiration to convert energy stored in carbohydrates to ATP and most producers use photosynthesis to convert light energy to stored chemical energy.

The cell energy simulation can be used to study photosynthesis, cellular respiration, and primary productivity.
